Key learnings included designing for diverse needs discovered during late-stage testing, accommodating entrenched habits from 1.5 years of old-tool usage, and balancing the perspectives of multiple stakeholders to ensure adoption and satisfaction. Result: A faster, cleaner, and globally adaptable tool that users actually enjoy using.

What started as a visual refresh became a full UX transformation—standardizing layouts, reducing cognitive load, and improving accessibility with an atomic design system. Through a UX audit, workshops, and funnel mapping, we fixed brand inconsistencies, reduced clicks, and created clear, predictable user journeys.

Impact:

  • 5 days shorter development cycle for new page publishing

  • Drop-off rate cut to 23% thanks to simplified,
    intuitive journeys

  • Consistent, reusable components enabling faster, scalable updates

Transforming Egonzehnder.com with a Scalable Design System — Clearer Journeys, Faster Delivery

As part of our digital transformation, we reimagined our Learning Management System to deliver an engaging, equitable, and blended learning experience tailored for consultants aged 40+, balancing demanding work schedules with personal growth.

We tackled three core UX challenges: sparking active participation over passive learning, clearly differentiating formats (asynchronous, synchronous, and live events), and ensuring the journey was intuitive, motivating, and accessible.

Through an iterative, feedback‑driven design process, we introduced clear navigation cues, visually distinct learning modes, and a streamlined interface that turned training from a chore into a self‑driven, enjoyable experience—boosting engagement and reducing learner drop‑off.

Rethinking Board Motivation

At Egon Zehnder, I had the privilege of working on some of their most esteemed intellectual properties, shaping the writing and reports of industry experts. It was a truly rewarding experience. While visual design is sometimes undervalued in the UX field, it's crucial to remember that we're humans designing for other humans.
A well-crafted visual design isn't just about aesthetics—it evokes emotions, sparks
curiosity, and engages interest.

When visual elements successfully convey messages and guide users through their journey, they enhance the overall user experience. This interplay of visuals and usability is where my work as a UX designer shines. In a world where written words can sometimes fall flat, it takes real commitment and hard work to bring these words to life through thoughtful visual design. This is what makes my role both challenging and fulfilling.
